TCA Welcomes Thomas Robb to its Skilled Workforce
Alexandria, Virginia:
The Truckload Carriers Association is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas (Tom) Robb to its skilled workforce as Associate Director of Education.
Tom joins the TCA with extensive experience in both higher education and associations, having lead the implementation of new learning platforms, design of educational courses, and management of instructional technologies. After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts B.A. in Education in from Fresno Pacific University in 2004, he graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Boise State University in 2011. While earning his Master’s, Tom was instrumental in securing university-funded grants to help fellow graduate students pursue education projects.
Tom comes to TCA most recently from the American Society of Addiction Medicine and has also worked at the National Automobile Dealers Association. He’s also had contract roles for American Institutes for Research and Jesuit Worldwide Learning, based in Washington D.C., as well as adjunct roles for West Hills Community College and Lassen Community College both of which are based in California.
In addition to his professional experience, Tom enjoys fishing with his son, spending time at the gymnastics gym with his daughter, and tries to get his Jeep on the beach whenever possible. He has two adult daughters, both of whom recently completed college, and volunteers as a Watch D.O.G. at his children’s school where his wife works as the lead special education teacher.
