A Night with the Songwriters
On Tuesday, March 12, during the Annual Awards Banquet, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from three songwriters, as well as TCA’s Highway Angel Spokesperson Lindsay Lawler and Nashville Recording Artist Chris Roberts.
Sit back and relax as each songwriter shares his/her personal stories of how they came about writing chart-topping hits.
Grammy Award Winner Marcus Hummon
He has written hits for country music artists such as Tim McGraw, Wynona Judd, Dixie Chicks, Sara Evans. Marcus also won Country Song of the Year for God Blessed the Broken Road recorded by Rascal Flatts.
Academy of Country Music Winner Victoria Shaw
She produced Lady Antebellum’s debut record and wrote hits for country music artists such as John Michael Montgomery and Trisha Yearwood. Victoria also won Song of the Year for The River recorded by Garth Brooks.
Nashville Songwriter and Hall of Fame Writer Walt Aldridge
Walt has written chart-topping hits for artists such as Ronnie Milsap, Barbara Mandrell, Earl Thomas Conley, Heartland, and Travis Tritt.
