TCA Certificate Programs
TCA is proud to offer the truckload industry with specific topic related courses to meet the educational needs for Human Resources, Recruitment, Retention, Driver Dispatch, and Fleet Managers.
Certificate Program Subject Areas
The Human Resources Certificate is the most comprehensive certificate offered by TCA covering topics in operations, recruitment, retention, and legal.
Candidates have two years to complete the following requirements:
- Completion of the Recruiting Certificate
- Completion of the Retention Certificate
- Completion of 66 continued education (CE) credits from the Human Resources Training Curriculum. Credits can be earned by completing on-demand education in the learning center or attending TCA live events.
The Recruitment Certificate will provide learners with training in three key subject areas: Driver Recruitment, Workforce Recruitment, and Hiring Legal Challenges.
Candidates have two years to complete the following requirement:
- Completion of 23 continued education (CE) credits from the Recruiting Certificate Training Curriculum. Credits can be earned by completing on-demand education in the learning center or attending TCA live events.
The Retention Certificate will provide learners with training in two key subject areas: Increasing Driver Retention and Employee Engagement.
Candidates have two years to complete the following requirement:
- Completion of 52 continued education (CE) credits from the Retention Certificate Training Curriculum. Credits can be earned by completing on-demand education in the learning center or attending TCA live events.
The Certificate of Fleet Management course is temporarily unavailable for maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We’re working diligently to improve the course, and expect to have it available again in mid-2025.
The Fleet Manager Certificate will provide learners with training in key subject areas: fleet management, leadership skills, driver coaching, and safety & compliance.

The Role of the Driver Dispatcher course provides a comprehensive overview of the essential skills and responsibilities of a driver dispatcher, covering fundamental dispatch functions to empower learners in their role. Although each carrier will have unique needs, this module will cover basic dispatch functions and allow the learner to test their dispatch skills by responding to seven common scenarios they may encounter.
In this self-paced online module, you will learn how to:
- Effectively communicate with drivers and other stakeholders.
- Make appropriate decisions when presented with difference scenarios.

Live Webinars
TCA live webinars occur on Tuesday’s or Thursday’s from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET. These virtual and interactive events are presented by the top industry thought-leaders on trending industry topics.
