This webinar provides 1 CE credit toward renewal of the Truckload Academy Certified Fleet Manager (CFM) designation or Motor Carrier Risk Specialist (MCRS) designation, and toward completion of the Truckload Academy Certificates in Human Resources (HR-OP, HR-RR) or Retention (RET-IDR).

In addition, it provides continuing education credit for NATMI Certified Safety Director (CDS) and Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) designations.

When M&W Transportation rolled out a video-based safety program over four years ago, it was strictly to exonerate its drivers when wrongly accused. However, once they got a look inside the truck, they realized that measuring their fleet’s safety simply by no tickets and no accidents was no longer enough. They needed to build a coaching program that would proactively reduce risky behaviors that lead to accidents.

Join Chris Woody, HR & Safety Manager at M&W Transportation, as he describes how M&W was able to reduce speeding, mobile phone usage, unsafe following procedures, and more. Chris takes a personal approach to coaching, one based on mutual respect with drivers and he’s ready to share his best practices. Chris will be joined by SmartDrive’s Customer Success Manager Brian Roccoforte, who will discuss motivating change through constructive coaching sessions and the typical bottom line results you can expect to achieve.

Other topics to be explored include:

  • Bringing your safety culture inside the cab
  • Ways to measure and improve upon the success of your coaching sessions
  • Taking your coaching program to the next level by incenting safe driving

This interactive program will provide opportunities for you to ask questions.
