James Eslinger Named TCA Highway Angel for Helping the Victims Until EMS Arrived

Alexandria, Virginia:
James Eslinger, of Knoxville, Tennessee, a professional truck driver for Frontier Transport of Greenfield, Indiana, has been named a Highway Angel by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). He is being recognized for assisting two drivers who had crashed.
At approximately 9 p.m. on December 16, 2016, Eslinger witnessed an accident involving two vehicles. He used his 18-wheeler to block traffic and performed CPR on two of the victims. One of the victims survived, though unfortunately the other did not. Eslinger stayed at the scene and assisted EMS through the night. This is Eslinger’s eighth lifesaving event in his role as a professional truck driver.
For his willingness to assist his fellow driver, TCA has presented Eslinger with a certificate, patch, lapel pin, and truck decals. Frontier Transport also received a certificate acknowledging James Eslinger as a Highway Angel.
EpicVue sponsors TCA’s Highway Angel program. Since the program’s inception in August 1997, hundreds of drivers have been recognized as Highway Angels for the exemplary kindness, courtesy, and courage they have displayed while on the job.
