TCA, Tenstreet to Show Appreciation for Professional Truck Drivers at TA/Petro Locations
Alexandria, Virginia:
This week, as the nation celebrates America’s 3.5 million professional truck drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW), the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) staff will have a presence at multiple TravelCenters of America/Petro Stopping Centers (TA/Petro) across the country to show our appreciation.
The events are intended to guide professional truck drivers toward better health and fitness through fun, informative events and activities.
Any professional truck driver holding a CDL is invited to stop by TA Antioch in Tennessee (Wednesday) and TA Hudson in Wisconsin (Friday) between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m and TA Lodi in Ohio (Friday) from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Thanks to TCA member Tenstreet, each driver can spin a trivia wheel to win an assortment of giveaways. Depending on the TA/Petro location, other activities could include cornhole, basketball, dog washing, pet adoption, live bands, truck windshield washing, and more. Sleep apnea specialists, fitness coaches, and local celebrities may also be a part of the events.
“Maintaining good health is one of the most important steps a driver can take to ensure safety on our roadways,” said Tenstreet’s Transportation Advisor Marilyn Surber. “We’re eager to partner with TCA in this endeavor to show our nation’s truck drivers our appreciation through promoting healthy choices on the road.”
Thanks to Tenstreet for sponsoring our participation in National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!
