TCA’s Latest Highway Angel is Martin Green

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has named Martin C. Green, a professional truck driver for Marten Transport of Mondovi, Wisconsin, as its latest Highway Angel.
On April 26, 2011, Green was at a truck stop in Effingham, Illinois. At about 3 p.m., he saw another Marten driver step out of his truck and fall suddenly, hurting his knee in the process. Green helped him back into the truck and stayed with him while he contacted dispatch. Green then helped the man get a meal and gave him his cell number in case the driver needed to contact him during the night.
The other Marten driver was so touched by Green’s compassion and professional manner that he called the company to praise and thank this Good Samaritan.
