The Truckload Carriers Association has named JW “Shorty” Carrington from Columbia, Louisiana, a professional truck driver with FTC Transportation based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a Highway Angel for alerting a fellow truck driver that his rig was on fire, then extinguishing the flames before it got worse.
