Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund recognizes Truckload Carriers Association members for hauling The Wall That Heals in 2017
Kissimmee, Florida:
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) presented awards today to recognize the efforts of Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) members who volunteered their time and equipment to haul The Wall That Heals in 2017. The presentation was made by Heidi Zimmerman, director of communications for VVMF, during TCA’s Annual Convention at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
“Our partnership with TCA allowed us to bring the names on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial home to hundreds of thousands of visitors in 2017,” said Zimmerman. “Leading the way into each community was a truck owned and operated by a TCA member showing dedication and commitment to America’s veterans – and to our nation.”
The following TCA-member companies were recognized:
- Barber Trucking, Inc. of Brookville, Pennsylvania
- Baylor Trucking, Inc. of Milan, Indiana
- Big G Express, Inc. of Shelbyville, Tennessee
