Truckload Academy Certificate Program
Truckload Academy, in its mission to expand accreditation programs and professional development opportunities, has launched three new certificate programs: Human Resources, Recruitment, and Retention.
Certificate Program Subject Areas
The Human Resources Certificate requires learners to complete the Recruiting Certificate, Retention Certificate, as prerequisites. The most comprehensive certificate offered by TCA includes training in these content areas: Operations, Recruitment, Retention, and Legal.
The Recruitment Certificate will provide learners with training in three key subject areas: Driver Recruitment, Workforce Recruitment, and Hiring Legal Challenges. The comprehensive training program includes the following topics.
The Retention Certificate will provide learners with training in two key subject areas: Increasing Driver Retention and Employee Engagement. The comprehensive training program includes the following topics.
Program Details
Recruiting Certificate
- 23 continuing education (CE) credits. Using a 60-minute hour, one contact hour equals one continuing education (CE) credit.
- Candidates have two years to earn their certificates.
- Completion of continuing education (CE) credits from the Recruiting Certificate Training Curriculum. Using a 60-minute hour, one contact hour equals one continuing education (CE) credit.
Retention Certficate
- 52 continuing education (CE) credits. Using a 60-minute hour, one contact hour equals one continuing education (CE) credit.
- Candidates have two years to earn their certificates.
- Completion of continuing education (CE) credits from the Retention Certificate Training Curriculum. Using a 60-minute hour, one contact hour equals one continuing education (CE) credit.
Human Resource Certificate
- Completion of the Recruiting Certificate
- Completion of the Retention Certificate
- Completion of 66 continuing education (CE) credits from the Human Resource Training Curriculum. Using a 60-minute hour, one contact hour equals one continuing education (CE) credit.
- Candidates have two years to earn their certificates.
Conferences and Meetings
The number of credits you can earn by attending the following meetings will be calculated when the programs are determined.
- Annual Convention
- Safety and Security Division
- Independent Contractor and Open Deck Division Meetings
- Refrigerated Division Meeting
