Small Carrier University

Join TCA for a 12-month program designed to educate small carriers in the areas of Operations, Maintenance, and Safety Performance. Enrollees will be exposed to instruction, discussion, and business analysis designed to achieve optimal performance.

The sessions will be educational and will include 29 key business metrics, the definition and purpose of these performance indicators, and the Identification of accounts impacting the performance measurement. Students will be able to identify over and underperformance indicators and structure strategic recommendations for improvement or sustainment. Upon successful completion, the participants will be knowledgeable of TCA’s Benchmarking Groups and prepared for enrollment/engagement in those groups.

Eligibility and Class Make-up:

Eligible Carriers – Less than 99 total power units across all modes
Class Structure – Each cohort will be made up of mixed haul modes.
Access to a Truckload Profitability Consultant – leading the educational sessions and continuing conversation and guidance between sessions.

Student commitment:

Attendance: To successfully complete the program students must submit required assignments and attend three virtual class sessions 90-120 minutes in length.

Data Submittal: Participants are required to submit data monthly for the purpose of creating personal Metric Analysis.

Fees for the program:

Set -Up Fee: $299

Monthly Enrollment Fee: $479 per month for 12 months of the program. Pay the full year and receive $100 discount on the setup fee.
