Driver Dispatcher/Fleet Manager Training

Truck dispatchers and Fleet Managers are the foundation of the trucking sector since they oversee coordinating with the drivers to ensure the safe delivery of goods and services. A dispatcher’s ability to coordinate with drivers and clients depends on effective communication and problem solving. A dispatcher must continually learn and develop to flourish in their position. Although each carrier will have unique needs, this module will cover basic dispatch functions.

In this online module you will learn how to:

  • Effectively communicate with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Make appropriate decisions when presented with different scenarios.

This new e-learning module provides an overview of the skills and responsibilities of the driver dispatcher. Learners can test their dispatch skills by responding to seven common scenarios they may encounter in the role. The module is self-paced and should not take more than an hour to complete.  You can enroll in this module by selecting it from the course catalog.
